Partnering responsibly with SYK Foundation.

1. Eligibility

SYK Foundation primarily serves secondary school students, alumni, mentors, volunteers, and education partners across Tanzania. Participants must provide accurate information during registration and notify us of changes that affect program engagement. Parent or guardian consent is required for minors when necessary.

2. Community Conduct

We expect all participants to:

• Respect students, mentors, staff, and partner institutions.
• Promote inclusive, safe, and harassment-free learning spaces.
• Use SYK Foundation resources solely for educational, mentorship, and youth development purposes.
• Comply with safeguarding requirements and immediately report concerns to SYK Foundation coordinators.

3. Program Commitments

When you enroll in a session, workshop, or event, you commit to participating fully and communicating promptly if circumstances change. SYK Foundation may revise or cancel programs when required by safety, logistics, or partner decisions. We will provide timely updates to registered participants.

4. Digital Accounts

Alumni and partners may receive access to online accounts or platforms. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and alerting us to any unauthorized use. SYK Foundation may suspend access to protect the community or investigate misuse.

5. Intellectual Property

SYK Foundation owns the rights to its programs, branding, and educational materials unless stated otherwise. Participants may use provided resources for SYK initiatives but must obtain written permission before reproducing content for other purposes.

6. Communications

By engaging with SYK Foundation, you consent to receiving emails, SMS, or phone calls related to program logistics, impact stories, and relevant opportunities. You may opt out of non-essential communications by contacting support@sykfoundation.or.tz.

7. Liability

SYK Foundation delivers programs in partnership with schools, mentors, and service providers. While we prioritize safety and quality, participation is voluntary and at your own risk. To the fullest extent allowed by law, SYK Foundation is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from program participation or website use.

8. Termination

We may suspend or end access to programs or accounts when these Terms are violated or when conduct threatens community safety. You may leave a program or request account deletion at any time by contacting the SYK coordination team.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect program adjustments, new legal requirements, or feedback from our community. We will post updates on this page and share material changes with affected participants.
